being in beta is all about trying new things—experimenting, testing, learning, and always getting better.

once upon a
time in Berlin
Betahaus is an international brand that originated in Berlin in 2009. It began in a modest 250m² warehouse in Kreuzberg, founded by six students, including Alexander Mihaylov. Their vision was to create an unconventional workspace—a place where collaboration thrived, and innovators and misfits could break free from the constraints of traditional office environments to imagine the impossible.



02 June
we opened doors
our first location was in Lozenets district. We started with cafe, workspace and event space.

January
first expansion
we opened a 3rd floor and our space became 2000 sq.m.

March
we moved to another location
our new home is the 3rd floor of Bulgarian

June
we opened our second location – Slaveykov Square

October
we announced strategic partnership with the leading commercial real estate developers in CEE, GTC Bulgaria, part of GTC Group

November
we opened the first betahaus in class A office building. betahaus Advanced Business Center.

May
we opened our 4th location (2nd at class A office building). betahaus Sofia Tower.

April
we opened betahaus in Bucharest in partnership with GTC.
